Life Burns Faster: Metallica’s residency at Las Vegas Sphere

After months of rumors and speculation, today we woke up to the amazing news that Metallica’s show is coming to Las Vegas, at the Sphere in October. They announced 4 weekends, so 8 shows, for their No repeat weekends. Returning to the topic of my last article, Rock is very much not dead, if it was, we wouldn’t be going to Las Vegas, and businessmen wouldn’t be counting on Metallica to bring them money.

Let’s talk details, the residency will debut on October 1st, following another concert that same weekend on October 3rd. We will be able to purchase two-night tickets and single-night tickets, which will go on sale starting Friday, March 6th at 10AM PT. But as we know, us Fifth Members have special presales, which will start from Monday, March 2nd, followed by the Ticketmaster Artist Presale on March 3rd. The I disappear ticket will now be the Full house ticket, and as always, we’ll have the option of to buy enhanced experiences and travel packages, which could make the travel easier since the hotel is included.

Bringing Metallica to The Sphere, might be the greatest idea people have had in a long time. Having a band with a good fanbase, with so much history, and with a big discography is almost success guaranteed. The themes Metallica has, the stages they have done, and show they put on in normal stadiums is amazing, but having a space like the Sphere is going to take everything they do to the next level. Let’s imagine the visuals in One, or in Master of Puppets, it’s going to feel like we are in a graveyard.

I have big expectations for this residency, also extremely excited, so let’s hope the visuals, the sound, and the setlist are to die for.
